    After a lengthy career as a reporter, columnist and editor, I’ve turned my attention to oil painting.

    I can’t think of a better area to observe the changing seasons, magnificent sunsets and rolling farmlands than Upper Bucks County, Pa., where my wife and I now live.

    Many of my paintings have been inspired by my surroundings in Bucks County, but I’ve also been moved by experiences in Oregon, California, Colorado, Nevada, Indiana and other parts of the country.
